Your recordings stay on your PC.
How the desktop app, purchases and license service handle information. Updated October 10, 2026.
Local capture
Hardware readings, game sessions, saved reports and virtual Trading records are stored locally. Buying or activating Pro does not upload those recordings. Back up the local data you want to keep.
Purchases and your license
SystemChart uses Stripe Managed Payments for checkout and payment operations. Stripe collects the payment and billing information shown in its checkout. SystemChart stores the purchase email, name and billing country when supplied, Stripe order/customer references, amounts, purchase dates, and payment or refund status. Card numbers are not stored by the SystemChart license service. Stripe explains its own processing in its privacy policy.
These records fulfill your purchase, recover your account, handle refunds, prevent unauthorized license sharing and support your lifetime entitlement. A sign-in email contains a short-lived, one-use link. The account uses a secure session cookie that expires after 24 hours; signing out invalidates your customer sessions.
One activated PC
The app creates a non-exportable Windows device key, using the TPM when available. The service receives its public key, a key fingerprint, a device label, your app version and activation/verification times. The private key stays on your PC. Windows protects the local authorization file for your Windows account.
The app normally verifies Pro daily and can use its last valid authorization offline for up to seven days. Transferring a license releases the previous device on the service. An offline copy may keep its existing authorization until it expires.
Website, downloads and service providers
Cloudflare provides the license service, download storage, account emails and owner access protection. Microsoft Azure hosts the website. These services necessarily process network requests, including IP addresses. Parts of the website use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page views.
The license service keeps aggregate download response counts by day, release and install/update route. These are not a count of unique people or completed installations. Its rate limits use keyed hashes of addresses instead of storing raw IP addresses in the application database. Temporary rate-limit records expire within about 48 hours; expired sign-in links, activation claims, challenges and sessions are cleaned up hourly.
The private owner dashboard shows purchase, license and download records. Access is restricted to the authorized owner using Microsoft sign-in and MFA. Customer data and payment keys are not included in public website code.
Support and AI connections
A support report is separate from activation. You review the text, screenshots and selected details before choosing to send it. Captured databases and full history are not automatically attached. If you configure an AI provider or connect an agent, the content you choose to send is handled by that provider or client under its own settings and policies. Hosted AI usage is separate from the Pro purchase.
Retention and requests
Purchase and license records are retained to support lifetime access, purchase recovery, fraud prevention and required accounting. Local recordings follow your app’s retention settings. A refund or expired Pro authorization does not erase saved local work.
To ask about your information, request a correction, access or deletion, contact [email protected]. Ownership may need to be verified. Some purchase records may need to be retained for legal, accounting or security reasons; removing license records can prevent later purchase recovery. Do not send passwords, card numbers, activation codes or sign-in links.
